| The New Curriculum: BD for plus 2 candidates |
| According to the new curriculum to be implemented from June 2010 Bachelor of Divinity is for five years. Any candidate who has passed HSC or plus 2 and eligible for admission to Indian universities can now apply. Those with a bachelor degree or equivalent will get one year exemption from the course: that is candidates with bachelor degrees or higher will be admitted to the second year of the program and will complete the program with four years.
